Being originally from NYC, I have fond memories of the wonderful parade and festivities I would be part of with my Irish friends. The weather would almost always be perfect walking around the Big Apple. I remember many of my friends reciting Irish stories, blessings and prayers. I'd love to share a few with you and extend the blessings to all my Facebook friends.

When you wish some one the "Top of the Morning" you are wishing them the best part of the morning. To which they can reply, "and the rest of the day to yourself." This is wishing you a good rest of the day.
