Love this fable!

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water..

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do ha lf of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.

'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'
The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?'

'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.'

For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

SO, to all of my cracked FB friends (including me!), have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Finding Beauty In Obstacles

We appreciate many things when we are challenged by the opposite showing up in our lives. We value joy when we have experienced sadness, light when we have been exposed to darkness, pleasure when we have endured pain, prosperity when we have lacked. What obstacle are you facing? Find the beauty in your teachings. Namaste

Our Children's Journey

Being a parent is the most difficult job I ever had and possibly will ever have. I know many parents out there will agree with me too.

As a parent, I sometimes get frustrated with the decisions that my children make. I always keep in mind the words of my mentor:
"Your children come through you and not for you."

This puts things in perspective for me. I realize that they are entitled to creating their own journey. Perhaps you gain comfort from these words too.

Here is another message from Abraham to ponder upon:

"Children coming forth today have a greater capacity to deal with the greater variety of information that is coming forward than you did. They deliberately are coming forth into this environment where there is more to contemplate. This generation gap that you are talking about, it has ever been thus. Each new generation, every new individual, that comes forth, is coming with you having prepared a different platform for them to proceed from. There is this thing that gets in the way of that that says, "I'm the parent. I got here first. I know more than you do." From the children's perspective, and from the purity of their Nonphysical Perspective, what they are saying is, "You're the parent. You got here first. You prepared a platform that I am leaping off from -- and my leap will be beyond anything that you have ever known."--- Abraham

Happy St Patty's to All!

Being originally from NYC, I have fond memories of the wonderful parade and festivities I would be part of with my Irish friends. The weather would almost always be perfect walking around the Big Apple. I remember many of my friends reciting Irish stories, blessings and prayers. I'd love to share a few with you and extend the blessings to all my Facebook friends.

====================
A Tidbit:

When you wish some one the "Top of the Morning" you are wishing them the best part of the morning. To which they can reply, "and the rest of the day to yourself." This is wishing you a good rest of the day.

=====================
A Traditional Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

=====================

For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

========================

An Irish Prayer

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.

Happy St Patty's and namaste

Honoring Life Changes ....The Wisdom of fear

I've been dealing with a lot of people struggling with issues lately due to the economy such as losing jobs, homes, etc. As a result they are tapping into a lot of fear.

And so my assistant today brought the following Daily Om to my attention and I thought I would share it with you. Remember you are Light and Light always swallows darkness (which includes fear). Let's make lemonade from these lemons!

Namaste, Tina

*****************************

Daily Om
Honoring Life Changes
The Wisdom of Fear

Anything worth doing will always have some fear attached to it. For example, having a baby, getting married, changing careers—all of these life changes can bring up deep fears. It helps to remember that this type of fear is good. It is your way of questioning whether you really want the new life these changes will bring. It is also a potent reminder that releasing and grieving the past is a necessary part of moving into the new.

Fear has a way of throwing us off balance, making us feel uncertain and insecure, but it is not meant to discourage us. Its purpose is to notify us that we are at the edge of our comfort zone, poised in between the old life and a new one. Whenever we face our fear, we overcome an inner obstacle and move into new and life-enhancing territory, both inside and out. The more we learn to respect and even welcome fear, the more we will be able to hear its wisdom, wisdom that will let us know that the time has come to move forward, or not. While comfort with fear is a contradiction in terms, we can learn to honor our fear, recognizing its arrival, listening to its intelligence, and respecting it as a harbinger of transformation. Indeed, it informs us that the change we are contemplating is significant, enabling us to approach it with the proper reverence.

You might wish to converse with your fear, plumbing its depths for a greater understanding of the change you are making. You could do this by sitting quietly in meditation and listening or by journaling. Writing down whatever comes up—your worries, your sadness, your excitement, your hopes—is a great way to learn about yourself through the vehicle of fear and to remember that fear almost always comes alongside anything worth doing in your life.

Laughter is Great Medicine

Today I felt that we need to bring some sense of humor in our lives and so I bring to you the following:

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to
hold them while you chop.
Avoid arguments with the Mrs about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink.
For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives; then you'll be afraid to cough.
You only need two tools i n life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Daily Thought:
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES; MAY NOT BE GOOD FOR CERTAIN THINGS BUT THEY BRING A
SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them. Then again what's normal? Everyone has their own definition.

Namaste and have a great day!

PEACE Be Within All of YOU

PEACE Be Within All of YOU

July 4th is a milestone of freedom for our nation, and it goes deeper than a barbeque gathering with friends or a summer night illuminated by fireworks. Today is a day to reflect upon what is free, and what ought to be free. I believe that freedom begins from within each of us. And so I would like to share this piece with all of you and hope you put peaceful energy to this intention:
"A man of peace is not a pacifist; a man of peace is simply a pool of silence. He pulsates a new kind of energy into the world, he sings a new song. He lives in a totally new way. His very way of life is that of grace, that of prayer, that of compassion. Whomsoever he touches, he creates more love-energy. The man of peace is creative. He is not against war, because to be against anything is to be at war. He is not against war, he simply understands why war exists. And out of that understanding he becomes peaceful. Only when there are many people who are pools of peace, silence, understanding, will the war disappear." OSHO
So let’s spread the energy of peace by first making it an intention to be peaceful. Allow the peace to radiate and exude from us and be available for others to feel, see, smell, taste, hear, and know that it is truly possible to be at peace. And where there is peace, there is freedom. This is what our forefathers’ intention was on July 4, 1776. Let’s be a woman or man of peace. Who is with me?

Peace and blessings,
Tina

Working with a Shaman... A Soulful Cure

A friend of mine came across this in the Daily Om and it comes really close to what it’s like working with a shaman.

************************

Since time immemorial, certain men and women have felt
called to heal the sick, to safeguard knowledge, to guide the
lost, and to commune with the spirit world.

These unique individuals, known as shamans, were mystics
and seers, repositories of wisdom, and keepers of herbal lore. During those periods when ignorance loomed large in the world, shamans across the
globe bided their time, peacefully practicing their practical
yet refined arts in the jungle, mountains, deserts, and tundra
that protected them from those who misunderstood
shamanism. Today, however, shamanism has reemerged, as
modern men and women feel the same call to service that
their ancestors felt long ago. Also, as more individuals
explore the notion that healing necessarily involves the soul
as well as the physical self, people are consulting shamans
in their search for wellness, wisdom, and guidance.

The word shaman literally means "he or she who knows."
Shamanism is an art that has not changed in any quantifiable way for millennia and is not bound to any particular form of spirituality. It is grounded on the principle that the visible world is saturated with unseen forces that influence the lives of human beings. Shamans, in addition to acting as fonts of wisdom, are dedicated to diagnosing and curing human suffering-whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. To treat an illness, a shaman may communicate with the spirit world in order to connect more directly with the soul of their patient or with the force causing ill health. They often work closely with animal guides, plant and earth spirits, or your spirit guides, and may make use of use of herbal remedies to supplement other forms of treatment. Shamans, as intermediaries between the physical and spiritual realms, recognize that all objects are in manner alive and retain information that can be utilized to heal.

Shamanism is powerful in part because its practitioners tailor healing to the individual needs of those who seek them out. A shaman manipulates energy, giving you power where you have lost it and removing misplaced energy lurking within you. When you seek out a shaman, they will endeavor to know and understand you before treating you. In this way, they can provide you with therapies that act on your whole being, positively influencing your body as well as your soul.

Some shamanic techniques include:

lluminations
Our Luminous Energy Field or some people call it the aura or spirit body which contain our chakras, holds karmic, personal and ancestral memories, patterns, imprints, traumas, wounds, beliefs, etc. In this session, Tina will facilitate the release of these obstacles and barriers that hold us back. These obstacles may show up in us through many forms such as addictions, headaches, anxiety, depression, anger, shame, blame, sadness, etc. Once your field is clear, your chakras will be illuminated with the Divine Light restoring you to your authentic peaceful self. (In person or phone).

Soul Retrieval
This technique is has been used in many cultures and shamans around the world. It involves the Shaman (Tina) to journey on your behalf and seek out soul parts that may have “checked out” when you may have experienced trauma, difficult times, pain (whether emotional, physical, mental or spiritual pain) in any time and space. When part of our soul is missing, we can experience emptiness, uneasiness, depression, anger, fear, shame, blame, anxiety, blocks, addictions, weight issues, lack of direction. Once the soul part(s) is brought back, it is gently integrated in your chakra system so that you become and feel whole again. This process is usually preceded with an Illumination session. (In person or phone).

Ceremonies
Tina is an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church in Modesto, California and a Shaman. She can perform ceremonies that include weddings, property and/or house clearing and property care-taking, renewal of vows, house blessings, friendship, engagement, baby blessings, etc. All ceremonies are tailored to you.

Happy St Anthony Day

Anthony of Padua is one of the most beloved of saints; his images and statues are ubiquitous. Proclaimed a Doctor of the Church on January 16, 1946, he is sometimes called "Evangelical Doctor". He is especially invoked for the recovery of lost things. Not only physical and tangible things but physical health things too.

I remember at age 15 that I was given a beautiful, valuable white gold bracelet with authentic pearls from my relatives in Italy. My mom specifically told me not to wear it to the park that day. Of course I didn't listen and sure enough i lost it in the park among the acres of grass. I headed home feeling upset and I knew I was going to be in trouble. On the way home, I looked at the statues of St Anthony at the various neighbors homes. It was very common to see statues in their front yards. (I lived in a very Catholic-Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY and St. Anthony was the man.) All those years of friends and family praying to him and seeing miracles, i decided to go home and pray. And that I did.

The next day I headed to the park and asked St Anthony to guide me to the spot where my bracelet was located. And bingo....there it was!!!!! I was a believer!

Years went by and I have called on St Anthony for various things in my life. Including when I was pregnant with my second son. I had such a difficult pregnancy that my doctors were concerned about my child. I prayed to St Anthony and made a vow for a healthy child and in return my child would be named after him. Sure enough, my water broke and I arrived at the birthing center at 6am and presto, Anthony was born at 7am.

The next time you need to recover something lost like an object, emotional feeling of love, peace, joy and serenity, or physcial health, ask St Anthony to help you. Ask from a feeling of true belief and intention and you will get healing in return.

Happy St. Anthony's day everyone!

As you travel through life

Many people are experiencing difficult times nowadays. I came across this passage and hope that everyone gets a lift.....and comfort.

**************************
***************************
As you travel through life there are always those times
When decisions just have to be made,
When the choices are hard, and solutions seem scarce,
And the rain seems to soak your parade.

There are some situations where all you can do
Is simply let go and move on,
Gather your courage and choose a direction
That carries you toward a new dawn.

So pack up your troubles and take a step forward -
The process of change can be tough,
But think about all the excitement ahead

There might be adventures you never imagined
Just waiting around the next bend,
And wishes and dreams just about to come true
In ways you can't yet comprehend!

Perhaps you'll find friendships that spring from new things
As you challenge your status quo,
And learn there are so many options in life,

Perhaps you'll go places you never expected
And see things that you've never seen,
Or travel to fabulous, faraway worlds
And wonderful spots in between!

Perhaps you'll find warmth and affection and caring
And somebody special who's there
To help you stay centered and listen with interest
To stories and feelings you share.

Perhaps you'll find comfort in knowing your friends
Are supportive of all that you do,
And believe that whatever decisions you make,
They'll be the right choices for you.

So keep putting one foot in front of the other,
And taking your life day by day...
There's a brighter tomorrow that's just down the road -
Don't look back! You're not going that way!

******************************************************
blessings and love to you all,
Tina

INSPIRATIONAL STORY FROM ONE OF MY STUDENTS

HERE IS AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY FROM ONE OF MY STUDENTS. I HOPE YOU WILL FIND THAT RELATIONSHIP BEGINS FROM WITHIN. HAPPINESS STARTS FROM INSIDE. IF WE KEEP LOOKING OUTSIDE OURSELVES FOR HAPPINESS, WE WILL ALWAYS LONG FOR MORE. Namaste, Tina
***************************************************************
BRANDI WROTE THIS TO TINA:
"I have a couple more messages to share if you don't mind....

I was driving back from school the other night upset and down because I felt "alone"... I want to be in a relationship.... I feel alone.. wanting true laughter, wanting that special someone to love.... Ready to cry... Spirit told me so gently... "What are you going to do about it?"...
Seconds after, I broke down crying and wanted out because I was so tired of being in this world doing worldly things (again), having to relearn what I've learned and taught so many times before... having to start from the beginning once more although its all so familiar in my soul... I'm tired, I'm frustrated, I'm done..nobody understands, people cant see what it is they're doing here on this plane....yadda, yadda.... Spirit gently said "Well, what are you going to do to get through it?"....

In that moment, it made so much sense.....

Bringing tears to my eyes now.... it's so darn simple.... why can't we understand that this is not supposed to be that difficult? All we have to do is go within... like you continue to remind us time and time again....we are searching out instead of in....

My experiences lately, I've not shut myself off from the world around, but I've stuck to myself and out of group settings. I understand how powerful we individuals are if we quit making things so difficult and quit running to others every time we feel our Beings slip. When we're young and we fall... we're told to get back up... when we're young and we hurt... we're told you will be fine.... when we're young and begin to search... we are told you will find....
Just because our physical has aged, does not mean that our spirit doesn't need to be tenderly loved. Think of a time when you felt the world was about to fall and no one was in sight to see.... How in the world did we make it through? We made it, because we have our higher selves.... We made it because we have our angels, We made it because we have our guides, We made it because we have our loved ones who've transitioned over and we've made it because we have the strength. Without this mighty strength, we wouldn't be challenged with these crazy things in the first place... Continuously being helped and guided, and nudged.. Spirit stands and smiles right back.... so proud and so content. So proud of the wisdom we gain and so proud of the feats we all surpass. We need to stand proud, we need to stand Tall. We need to continue being firm with the truths that we already know... No need to look out, listen to whats already within.... what are we going to do to make it through?

When in a space of discontent or discomfort or unfamiliarity.... instead of running to find something that doesn't need to be, all we need to do is repeat... "I have all that I need... my Angels, my Guides, and Me."

THANKS BRANDI FOR GIVING ME PERMISSION TO SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS. LOVE, TINA

Swine Flu

With all the crazy media frenetic energy surrounding the Swine Flu, I've been getting lotsa calls and emails. I invite you to read Dr Mercola's article on this. you can click on the link below and here are some things you can do to prevent viruses and bacteria in general:

How to Protect Yourself Without Dangerous Drugs and Vaccinations by Dr. Mercola

For now, my point is that there are always going to be threats of flu pandemics, real or created, and there will always be potentially toxic vaccines that are peddled as the solution. But you can break free of that whole drug-solution trap by following some natural health principles.

I have not caught a flu in over two decades, and you can avoid it too, without getting vaccinated, by following these simple guidelines, which will keep your immune system in optimal working order so that you're far less likely to acquire the infection to begin with.

* Optimize your vitamin D levels. As I've previously reported, optimizing your vitamin D levels is one of the absolute best strategies for avoiding infections of ALL kinds, and vitamin D deficiency is likely the TRUE culprit behind the seasonality of the flu -- not the flu virus itself.

This is probably the single most important and least expensive action you can take. I would STRONGLY urge you to have your vitamin D level monitored to confirm your levels are therapeutic at 50-70 ng.ml and done by a reliable vitamin D lab like Lab Corp.

For those of you in the US we hope to launch a vitamin D testing service through Lab Corp that allows you to have your vitamin D levels checked at your local blood drawing facility, and relatively inexpensively. We hope to offer this service by June 2009.

If you are coming down with flu like symptoms and have not been on vitamin D you can take doses of 50,000 units a day for three days to treat the acute infection. Some researchers like Dr. Cannell, believe the dose could even be as high as 1000 units per pound of body weight for three days.

*

Avoid Sugar and Processed Foods. Sugar decreases the function of your immune system almost immediately, and as you likely know, a strong immune system is key to fighting off viruses and other illness. Be aware that sugar is present in foods you may not suspect, like ketchup and fruit juice.
*

Get Enough Rest. Just like it becomes harder for you to get your daily tasks done if you're tired, if your body is overly fatigued it will be harder for it to fight the flu. Be sure to check out my article Guide to a Good Night's Sleep for some great tips to help you get quality rest.
*

Have Effective Tools to Address Stress . We all face some stress every day, but if stress becomes overwhelming then your body will be less able to fight off the flu and other illness.

If you feel that stress is taking a toll on your health, consider using an energy psychology tool such as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which is remarkably effective in relieving stress associated with all kinds of events, from work to family to trauma. You can check out my free, 25-page EFT manual for some guidelines on how to perform EFT.
*

Exercise. When you exercise, you increase your circulation and your blood flow throughout your body. The components of your immune system are also better circulated, which means your immune system has a better chance of finding an illness before it spreads. You can review my exercise guidelines for some great tips on how to get started.
*

Take a good source of animal based omega-3 fats like Krill Oil. Increase your intake of healthy and essential fats like the omega-3 found in krill oil, which is crucial for maintaining health. It is also vitally important to avoid damaged omega-6 oils that are trans fats and in processed foods as it will seriously damage your immune response.
*

Wash Your Hands. Washing your hands will decrease your likelihood of spreading a virus to your nose, mouth or other people. Be sure you don't use antibacterial soap for this -- antibacterial soaps are completely unnecessary, and they cause far more harm than good. Instead, identify a simple chemical-free soap that you can switch your family to.
*

Eat Garlic Regularly. Garlic works like a broad-spectrum antibiotic against bacteria, virus, and protozoa in the body. And unlike with antibiotics, no resistance can be built up so it is an absolutely safe product to use. However, if you are allergic or don't enjoy garlic it would be best to avoid as it will likely cause more harm than good.
* Avoid Hospitals and Vaccines In this particular case, I'd also recommend you stay away from hospitals unless you're having an emergency, as hospitals are prime breeding grounds for infections of all kinds, and could be one of the likeliest places you could be exposed to this new bug. Vaccines will not be available for six months at the minimum but when available they will be ineffective and can lead to crippling paralysis like Guillain-Barré Syndrome just as it did in the 70s.

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/04/29/Swine-Flu.aspx
The above was written by Dr. Mercola. You need to determine if it resonates with you and consult with your medical and holistic professionals.

Here's to your health, awareness and insight.
Namaste,
Tina

I want to share with you that I was invited to participate in a healing ceremony the other night with medicine men from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta from Colombia, South America. We did a beautiful ceremony healing the Earth and ourselves. See photos in my group page.

Here is a website with their info: www.corazondelmundo.org You can read it in English or in Spanish. Take a look at the gallery and the photos. Most of them don’t even speak Spanish. They have their native lingo. They are simple people. They asked us for something to cut some thread and we gave them scissors. They looked puzzled and asked us how to use the scissors.

They are wonderful people spending lots of time in meditation and in ceremony to heal the Earth with the hope that everyone will gravitate to peace. So humble they are. Being in their energy was beyond words.

They are holding a space of peace for all of us. They live simple lives and they don't have to be distracted like the rest of us with all the noise, technology and "stuff". Their meditations and intentions are magnificent, powerful and compelling.

These people ask for your help in recovering their ancestral lands and protecting their sacred sites. So check out their website and see if you can donate money and/or send out healing loving energy prayers to them. Also energetically we can thank them for helping us heal the earth and promoting peace.

It's Renewal and Rebirth time whether you celebrate Easter or not.

It's that time of year again when little children start painting boiled eggs and gluing cotton balls on little bunny rabbits all in celebration of Easter. I have many fond memories of Easter. I remember baking Italian Easter cookies with the colorful eggs embedded in them. I remember eating boiled eggs of many different colors and varieties. And cooking the variety of Easter dishes.... and the big feasts my family had with our relatives and friends.

Many Christians are celebrating Easter this weekend. Their meaning of Easter is Jesus' victory over death. The time when he overcame death and rose to live in heaven forever.

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, I would like to invite you to overcome somethings in your life and to a celebration of renewal and rebirth. What are the things you want to finally let go of? What things would you like to give birth to? Let's do some spring cleaning not only physically but emotionally, mentally and spiritually? Let's let go of things that do not serve us any longer like sadness, resentment, anger, disappointments, etc. And by letting go of these limited beliefs and limitations we can make room for things positive things like harmony. Let's allow our spirit to soar and live in peace, joy and serenity! It all begins with one step....:)

With peace and love

Reiki, An Enlightened Experience...

"In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy." Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, Nobel Laureate in Medicine

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced ray key) is an energy healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing using our life force energy. Learning Reiki or receiving Reiki is a step toward being proactive (preventive) in your healing process. Reiki is also a complementary healing that can be used in conjunction with any healing technique, whether medical or alternative.

How is Reiki performed?
Reiki is administered by laying on hands (touch therapy), connecting with a person’s energy points or chakras. The act of laying hands on the human or animal body to comfort and relieve pain is as old as instinct. When experiencing pain, the first thing most people do is to put their hands on it. When a child falls and scrapes her knee, she wants her mother to touch it (or kiss it) and make it better. Human touch conveys healing.

What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life. If one’s life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. It’s a way to work with your Higher Power. It’s an enlightening teamwork experience. It will change your life!

Reiki 1/ Reiki 2 Certification
In Reiki 1 you receive an attunement from Reiki Master Tina G. Sacchi which brings you to the Reiki 1 level. Reiki 1 heals physical level diseases in the person who receives it. Reiki 1 healing sessions are primarily for self-healing. The Reiki 1 healer can also do healing for someone else who is physically present.

In Reiki 2, you receive an attunement from Reiki Master Tina G. Sacchi which brings you to the Reiki 2 level. Reiki 2 attunement increases the amount of healing energy. It adds considerable power to direct sessions. It also adds the methods and tools for doing healing with someone who is not physically present--distance healing.

Reiki 3 Certification
Reiki 3 is the Master/Teacher degree. A Master is simply a teacher, one who has mastered the discipline. No ego or ownership is involved in this term. The Reiki 3 practitioner experiences a further increase in the ability to channel healing energy. This energy is pure joy, oneness with all life, and connection with your God/Higher Power.

If you are interested in taking Reiki classes and certification to become a Reiki master, contact Tina through her website at www.tinasacchi.com.

What is Ear Coning or Ear Candling?

1. What is Ear Candling?

Ear Candling is a natural way to clean out accumulated wax and white, flaky fungus from the ears. The accumulations withdrawn from your ears may be many months or even years old. Ear Candles are custom designed from natural fibers and tapered to precise specifications. This technique dates back as far as the Egyptians when they used hollow reeds from swamps. It has been passed down by many generations by the Egyptians, Asians and Europeans.

YOU WANT A CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL TO DO THIS PROCEDURE!!!! Hot wax in the ear is not only painful, it's also difficult to extract.

Ear Coning can be beneficial for ear infections, ear aches, wax build up, tinnitus, hearing difficulties, etc. It also assists you in opening your body's spiritual centers, thus cleansing the spiritual body through the physical.

2. Does Ear Candling hurt?

Absolutely not! It is a painless, harmless and totally relaxing experience. If it weren't for the intermittent crackling and hissing sounds -- due to the burning of the wax and fungus being drawn up the chimney of the candle -- you would never know that anything was happening in your ear.

3. How long does an Ear Candling session last?

About forty-five (45) minutes per session, however, you should allow one (1) hour for your appointment.

4. How often should I have Ear Candling done?

Initially, most people need just 2 or 3 candling sessions to get their ears clean... However, some people, may need up to eight (8) sessions over a six month period. Once your ears are clean, personal preference should determine how often you have your ears candled. Every three to six months would be practical.

5. Who can benefit from Ear Candling?

Ear candling can benefit almost everyone, from infants to adults. Musicians can benefit - especially singers and horn blowers - who often have a lot more wax build up than other people. People who wear hearing aids can benefit. Also, those people who have had previous ear injuries, can benefit from ear candling as they tend to have a greater build up of wax and fungus.

6. Who should not have Ear Candling?

Ear Candling should not be done to people who have ear tubes, perforated ear drums, or artificial ear drums.

7. What are the ingredients?

The cones are made out of 100% unbleached cotton muslin and 100% beeswax. These are the blends you can choose from:

Black cohosh is an herb that is traditionally known as the woman's herb. It is also known to help the respiratory system.

Eucalyptus is an herb that helps to clear congestion and is found in many products such as Hall's mentholyptus lozenges. This variety is likely to be used by someone with upper respiratory or sinus complaints.

Osha Root is traditionally used for helping the lungs.

Releasing Blend It is a blend of essential oils that act as a catalyst for releasing whatever a person wants to let go of; whether it is physical, emotional, mental or spiritual releasing (or letting go of stress).

Respiratory Blend is a special combination of herbs that are known to be germ killers and is a good general purpose choice for ear coning.

Rose is known to encourage patience and love and is also antiseptic.

Soothing blend is a special combination of herbs that are known to be soothing to the ear canal.

Tea Tree is a known antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral.

Appreciate People Now

The greatest weakness of most humans is their hesitancy to tell others how much they love them while they’re still alive. O.A. Battista

In my practice, I meet and assist many people in their healings. One specific area that I want to share with you is appreciating people, whether they are your loved ones or someone you meet in passing. Appreciate them now. Even a simple word of thanks, a hug, or simply saying, "I love you," or "I appreciate you," creates a wonderful exchange of positive energy. Even if the recipient does not state it back, you have opened up a positive connection and the flow of kindness happens. A healing happens for them and for you! By spreading love and kindness, the soul basks in this energy and resolution happens. Just imagine taking one day out of your life to tell everyone you interact with that day how much you appreciate them, or to compliment them on something about them. Imagine how all the positive interactions can create wonderful things for you too! Your mind, body, spirit, and emotions gain from all this positive energy!

Lately, I've been administering Final Rites to people who are getting ready to cross over. This has brought tremendous gifts to me. Gifts of enlightenment, love, peace, and joy. Everytime I participate in this event, I get the message to appreciate my family, friends, and acquaintances with honor. Before my clients cross over, we have discussions about their lives and I always ask what they would like to finish before they leave. Almost always if not always, I get that they want to see or talk to specific individuals so that they can tell them words of appreciation. Their soul knows that this exchange creates the love, the reason why they came on earth. Our soul purpose is to love unconditionally, ourselves and others.

Yesterday outside a supermarket, there were two teenage individuals raising money for other teenagers that need drug rehab. My guides pulled me in their direction and so I donated money and started to talk with them. Both have been clean from crystal meth for several months. I looked with love in their eyes and they instinctively reached out for my hand. I told them both how proud I am that they have realized how precious they really are. I also told them that with everything in life, we must take it one day at a time. I saw tears in their eyes. Tears of appreciation, of being understood, of feeling worthy. I told them that I am rooting for them and they can call me if they need help. This simple gesture of appreciation created mileage of hope in their lives. I know I have inspired them to continue their sobriety at least one more day!

I hope you're out there appreciating people with me too. Thanks and I appreciate you!

Namaste,
